Tanzania Sustainable Development Platform is voluntary and open platform for CSOs in Tanzania to come together, self-organize and self-coordinate to ensure their meaningful participation and contribution towards the implementation, follow-up and monitoring of Sustainable Development in Tanzania. The Platform is part of the National Coordination Framework for Sustainable Development in Tanzania under the ministry of Finance and Planning. UNA Tanzania and Africa Philanthropic Foundation co-convenes the platform.

OUR MISSION

To self-organize and coordinate civil society organizations’ contributions towards the implementation, and follow up and review of Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063 inline with Tanzania’s Vision 2025.

Tanzania civil society organizations are change agents in the implementation, and accountability of sustainable development projects.

We championed the formation of Parliamentary Group on SDGs at the National Parliament of Tanzania aimed at driving SDGs agenda at parliamentary level.

The National Coordination Framework for SDGs Implementation, Monitoring and Reporting 2020

DETAILS Project Description After advocating for coordination mechanism since 2016, the Ministry of Finance and Planning issued the National Coordination Framework for the Implementation, Monitoring and Reporting of SDGs in December 2020.
